Add-on CD player for Ram 4500

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Ram 4500 models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing radio and steering-wheel controls. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation. The compact unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box.

Single-disc capacity with USB-powered operation

The device handles one standard audio CD at a time and draws all power from the car's USB port. After inserting a disc, allow approximately two minutes for the indexing process to finish before use. Interrupting this step will require restarting the set-up with a different disc and repeating the full instruction sequence from the beginning.

Factory USB port compatibility requirement

The sole deciding factor is whether the Ram 4500 provides a functional USB port that supports the player's CarPlay interface. Vehicles without an available USB connection cannot use this unit, and no alternative power or data inputs are offered.
