Pro Star USB CD Player for Genesis GV80

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc CD drive to 2019 to 2026 Genesis GV80 models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation. The device is designed for owners who still want to play physical CDs through the car's original audio system.

Plug-and-play capacity and indexing requirement

The player reads standard audio CDs and streams the audio to the factory radio or steering-wheel controls once the disc finishes indexing. Allow two minutes for this indexing process to complete before using the controls. Interrupting the process means restarting with a different disc and repeating the full setup steps. The unit handles one disc at a time and has no internal storage for ripping or caching tracks.

Flexible mounting and factory integration

The compact unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the USB cable reaches. Because it uses the existing USB port, it leaves the vehicle's wiring harness untouched and preserves the factory head unit's interface. Buyers who want multi-disc changers, Bluetooth streaming from a phone or auxiliary input expansion will need a different solution.
