Premium Grade Gaffer Tape 72mm x 55 yds Yellow

Pro Tapes Premium Grade Gaffer Tape is a high-strength, vinyl-coated cloth tape built for entertainment, production and industrial use. Its synthetic rubber adhesive bonds securely to irregular surfaces and removes cleanly without residue. The matte, waterproof backing resists abrasion in demanding environments. It unwinds smoothly and tears cleanly by hand.

Suitable applications and limits

This tape suits technicians securing cables, bundling wires, marking stages or labelling equipment cases and audio boards. It works well for safety marking on stairs and exits, dance floor splicing and low-light labeling. Users needing a PVC-based tape or a different adhesive chemistry should consider other options. Buyers who require a specific width not matching 72mm must look elsewhere.

Synthetic rubber adhesive system (SRA)

The tape uses a synthetic rubber adhesive system (SRA) that delivers secure adhesion and clean, residue-free removal. This adhesive is the single specification that determines whether the tape meets the requirement for temporary holds on irregular surfaces. It also allows the tape to be written on with pens and markers. The product contains zero polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 72 mm width or a narrower roll for cable bundling?

The 72 mm width gives a broad surface for securing cables and marking stages, while narrower rolls suit finer labelling tasks.

What does the 55-yard length mean for a typical production run?

Fifty-five yards supplies enough tape for multiple cable runs, equipment labelling and safety marking across a full event setup.

How does the synthetic rubber adhesive perform on irregular surfaces?

The synthetic rubber adhesive grips uneven surfaces securely yet removes cleanly without residue, ideal for temporary rigging and equipment holding.
