Pro Tapes Pro-Gaff Fluorescent Blue Gaffers Tape

Pro Tapes Pro-Gaff Fluorescent Blue Gaffers Tape is a high-strength vinyl-coated cloth tape with a matte finish. It comes in a 2-inch width by 50-yard length. The tape is engineered for demanding applications such as wire and carpet hold-down, gaffing lights, spiking, color coding, marking boxes, stage and set decoration, splicing floors, and bundling wires. It glows vividly under blacklight but is not a glow-in-the-dark tape.

Check surface compatibility

The manufacturer notes it is the user's responsibility to determine suitability for the intended use. Test on an inconspicuous area first if clean removal from a specific substrate is required. Note that the fluorescent colors glow under blacklight; this tape does not glow in the dark without a UV source. Ensure your application matches these properties.

Hand-tearable cloth tape for stage, studio.

The tape features a high-performance adhesive system that is highly conformable to irregular surfaces. It is waterproof, abrasion-resistant, water and temperature resistant, and resists tears and punctures. It offers a smooth, controlled unwind and removes cleanly from most surfaces. Made in the U.S., it frees you from needing cutting tools for length adjustments during installation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need any extra tools to apply it?

Which width and length should I pick for stage marking and cable hold-down?

The 2-inch by 50-yard roll is the standard width for gaffing lights, spiking floors and bundling wires, giving a balance of visibility and handling.

How does the fluorescent blue colour behave under stage lighting?

The tape glows vividly under blacklight for high visibility in dark venues, but it is not a glow-in-the-dark product and will not emit light on its own.
