Studio SE 12X 1080p overview

The PTZOptics Studio SE is a professional IP camera that captures 1080p video with a 12X optical zoom range. It is designed for broadcast studios, live-streaming teams and corporate AV installations that need reliable remote operation. The camera supports NDI HX3 and Hive Studio for network-based control and monitoring. Its white finish suits modern studio aesthetics.

Connectivity and integration

Four output paths — SDI, HDMI, USB and IP — let the camera plug directly into switchers, recorders, streaming PCs or NDI workflows without extra converters. A single Ethernet cable can carry video, power and control when paired with a PoE switch. The Hive Linked platform enables full pan, tilt, zoom and settings adjustment from any location on the network. Builders who need more than one camera angle will need additional units.

Included accessories and software

The box ships with an IR remote, a mounting bracket and a power supply so the camera is ready for desktop or ceiling installation. Hive Studio access is bundled, providing cloud-based management, preset recall and multi-camera switching from a browser. No capture card or separate NDI licence is required for basic operation. Users who require advanced features such as tally-light integration or serial joystick control must source those peripherals separately.

Does the camera run hot or loud during a full day of streaming?

The Studio SE uses a fanless, passive-cooling design, so it stays silent and at a stable temperature during continuous operation.

What controller or software do I need to pan, tilt and zoom this camera remotely?
