Pyle PEL66 grill accessory transparent 12 watt arc lighter

What the product is

The Pyle PEL66 is a transparent digital electronic lighter that uses plasma arc technology to produce a flameless heat source. It draws power from a 12/24V vehicle cigarette lighter outlet and contains a built-in 3.7V Li-iOn rechargeable battery. A USB charge port rated at 5V / 2.4A allows the unit to power other devices.

Who this suits and who it does not

Drivers who want a windproof lighter for cigarettes, candles or camp stoves without buying fluid or refills will find the arc coil reliable in moving vehicles. The slim 3.1 x .6 x .8 inch ABS body fits easily in a console or pocket. Buyers who need more than 30 ignitions per charge or a longer runtime between recharges should look at something else.

The deciding specification

Maximum power output is 12 watt and the internal 90mAh battery delivers up to 30-plus lights before a 1.5 hour recharge is required. This capacity figure determines whether the lighter matches daily usage patterns.
