Outdoor Rated Cat 6 Cable

This shielded Cat 6 patch cable runs 200 feet and is built for exterior and direct burial installation. Gold plated RJ45 connectors on both ends support data rates up to 1 Gbps at 250 MHz. The black jacket is UV resistant and weatherproof for long term outdoor exposure.

Suited For Permanent Outdoor Runs

Installers who need a single 200 foot link between buildings, to a camera, or to an access point will find the length and shielding convenient. Buyers who need multiple shorter drops, indoor only cable, or unshielded construction should select a different product.

200 Foot Continuous Length

The cable arrives as one 200 foot assembly with connectors already terminated. No field termination is required and no splicing is necessary for spans up to this distance.

Questions about this item

Will the shielded RJ45 connectors on this 200 ft outdoor Cat 6 cable work with my existing Cat 5e wall jacks and router ports?

Yes, the RJ45 connectors are backward compatible with Cat 5e and Cat 5 jacks, so the cable will plug directly into your current wall plates, patch panels and router ports.

How can I verify the 1 Gbps 250 MHz link is performing correctly after I bury the 200 ft run?

Connect two gigabit-rated devices at each end and run a local throughput test; consistent near-gigabit results show the shielded outdoor cable is operating as specified.

Does the 200 ft black shielded Cat 6 cable come with any couplers, grounding hardware or conduit, or must I buy those separately?

The box contains only the 200 ft cable with factory-terminated RJ45 plugs; couplers, grounding kits, conduit and burial tape are not included and must be sourced separately.
