QualGear QG-CAT7R-1FT-BLK Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 6 ft Blue Flat

Flat Cat 7 cable for 10 Gbps runs

The QualGear QG-CAT7R-1FT-BLK is a six-foot flat patch cable rated for Cat 7 performance. It uses 99.99% oxygen-free copper conductors with gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends. The triple-shielded construction supports 10 Gbps Ethernet signals up to 100 m and a transmission frequency of 600 MHz. Its low-profile blue jacket slips under carpets or along baseboards without creating bumps.

Suited for tight installs needing high bandwidth

Home-office users and small-business installers who need 10 Gbps throughput in narrow spaces will benefit from the flat profile and robust shielding. Builders who require bulk spools for structured wiring, outdoor-rated jackets, or lengths beyond the available 50 ft maximum should look at alternative cable types. The fixed six-foot length also limits use in longer single-run scenarios.

Cat 7 rating with 600 MHz bandwidth decides fit

The defining specification is the Cat 7 classification delivering 600 MHz bandwidth and 10 Gbps speed over 100 m. This performance tier matches multi-gigabit routers, switches and NAS devices that demand more headroom than Cat 6a provides. If your network equipment only negotiates 1 Gbps, the extra bandwidth will remain unused, so verify port capabilities before purchasing.
