Airflow Control for 19" Racks

This 10-pack of 1U blanking panels fills empty rack units to stop hot exhaust air from recirculating into cold intake zones. It is intended for data-centre managers and lab technicians who need a simple way to improve cooling efficiency across multiple cabinets.

Passive Airflow Management

The panels work only as physical barriers; they have no moving parts, sensors or active controls. Their effectiveness depends entirely on sealing every unused unit in a rack, so any gap left uncovered will reduce the separation of hot and cold aisles.

Tool-Friendly Mounting

Each panel installs with the included M6 hardware into square, round or threaded holes on any EIA 19" rack. The screw-on design keeps panels secure during vibration or equipment changes while allowing quick removal when a new device occupies the space.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 10-pack or buy single panels for my 19" rack?

The 10-pack covers ten 1U gaps at once and includes all M6 hardware, so it's the simplest choice for filling multiple empty spaces in a 19" rack.

How much does a 1U blanking panel actually lower intake temperatures in a live rack?

By blocking hot exhaust from recirculating through the front, each panel helps keep cold air at the intake, which improves cooling efficiency and can reduce fan power draw.

Will the M6 hardware fit square, round and threaded holes in a standard 19" rack?

Yes, the panels are built for universal EIA 19" compatibility and the supplied M6 screws work with square, round or threaded mounting rails.
