1U Seismic Transport Shelf

This 1U shelf mounts desktop workstations or IT equipment inside standard four-post server racks. It is built for seismic zones and transport scenarios where equipment must stay secured while remaining accessible.

Dry Slide Rails and Cable Arm

Dry slide rails provide smooth, stable extension for servicing without lubrication mess. An integrated cable management arm routes cables neatly during extension and retraction, while a non-slip mat and strap lock the chassis in place during vibration or movement.

45 lb Capacity and 24 Inch Depth

The shelf supports up to 45 lbs (21 kg) and fits racks with adjustable mounting depths up to 24 inches (609 mm). Heavier devices or deeper rack configurations exceed the rated limits and require a different solution.

Questions about this item

What rack-mount standard does the 1U seismic transport shelf use, and what mounting depth does it support?

It fits standard 4-post racks with square, round or threaded holes and adjusts to a 24-inch (609 mm) mounting depth.

How much clearance and weight capacity does the 24-inch deep shelf need for a desktop PC?

The shelf occupies 1U of rack space, extends 24 inches deep and holds up to 45 lbs (21 kg) with the included anti-slip mat and strap.

How is the shelf secured in the rack, and what step is often missed during installation?

Mount the sliding rails to the 4-post rack using the appropriate hardware for square, round or threaded holes, then attach the cable management arm — skipping the arm leaves cables unmanaged during slide-out.
