Vertical power strip for 19-inch racks

This vertical power strip delivers 24 NEMA 5-20R receptacles and a 20 A circuit breaker for high-density server environments. It mounts at the rear of 19-inch EIA racks sized 44 U and larger and includes a 15-foot cord with a NEMA L5-20P twist-lock plug. The unit is CSA certified and UL recognised for safety compliance. It suits administrators who need dense, protected power distribution in large rack rows.

Check rack height and plug compatibility

Verify that your rack is at least 44 U tall to accommodate the vertical mounting profile. Confirm the facility can supply a NEMA L5-20P receptacle for the twist-lock plug; the strip will not connect to standard 5-15 or 5-20 wall outlets without an adapter. Ensure the 15-foot cord length reaches the power source from the planned rack position. Buyers with shorter racks or different inlet plugs cannot use this unit as supplied.

Mounting brackets sold separately

The package contains only the power strip; mounting brackets required for installation on RackSolutions Rack 111 open-frame racks are sold separately. Without those brackets the strip cannot be secured to that specific rack model. No additional software, cables or configuration tools are included. Buyers must source the correct brackets before installation can begin.

Questions about this item

Does the 24-outlet strip come with the mounting brackets needed for a RackSolutions 111 open frame rack?

Mounting brackets are required for installation on RackSolutions Rack 111 open frame racks and are sold separately.

Should I choose this 20 A model with 24 NEMA 5-20R receptacles or a lower-amperage version for my 19-inch EIA rack?

This unit provides 24 NEMA 5-20R receptacles on a 20 A circuit with a NEMA L5-20P twist-lock plug, suited for high-density 19-inch EIA racks of 44 U and larger.

What does the 20 A circuit-breaker rating mean once the strip is mounted vertically in a 44 U rack with a 15 ft cord?

The 20 A breaker protects the 24 receptacles and 15 ft cord from overcurrent, while the NEMA L5-20P twist-lock plug maintains a secure connection in the vertical rear-mount position.
