Time attendance with fingerprint and card

The AL355 is a 2.8 inch LCD terminal for small to medium workplaces needing reliable employee clock-in. It supports fingerprint, password and ID card authentication for up to 5000 users and stores 100000 transactions locally. The unit runs on the REALAND Face 2960 platform and connects via TCP/IP, WiFi or USB memory disk.

5000 fingerprint capacity and 500 DPI sensor

The single specification that decides fit is the 5000 fingerprint capacity matched to a 500 DPI sensor. This combination suits organisations with up to five thousand enrolled users who need fast verification without a central server. Larger workforces or sites requiring multi-factor beyond the three built-in methods will exceed the device limits.

Wall mount with bracket and four screws

Installation uses the supplied bracket and four screws for a standard wall mount, powered by the included supply. The 17.2 by 13.2 by 3.4 cm footprint fits most entry points. Common issues are WiFi signal dropouts in concrete corridors and driver setup on Windows XP or 2003 machines still in use.

Questions about this item

How does the 5000 fingerprint capacity work in daily use?

The device stores up to 5000 fingerprint templates and matches them in under one second for quick clock-in.

What does the TCP/IP and WiFi connectivity actually limit?

Both interfaces share the same 100000-transaction log; when full, oldest records must be cleared before new ones are saved.

What mounting hardware is included for wall installation?

The box supplies a metal bracket, four screws and a power supply so the unit can be fixed directly to a wall.
