System Purpose

This 12-channel PoE network video recorder is built for homes or small businesses that want a single-box recording hub for Reolink IP cameras. It ships with a 2 TB hard drive installed and can expand to 16 TB total capacity for weeks of continuous footage. The unit only works with Reolink cameras; third-party devices are not supported.

Build Integration

Eight PoE ports deliver up to 25 W each over a single Ethernet cable run to 330 ft, so cameras receive power and data without separate supplies or nearby outlets. An eSATA port allows an external hard drive to be added alongside the internal SATA bay. The recorder operates standalone for local live view and recording; internet is only required for remote access and push notifications.

Sustained Operation

The chassis is rated for ambient temperatures from -10 °C to +45 °C and humidity of 10 % to 90 %, supporting 24/7 recording loads without active cooling specs disclosed. HDMI output handles up to 3840 x 2160 resolution for detailed multi-camera playback on a monitor. Local storage and processing remain available even if the upstream network connection drops.
