Two-camera 8MP PoE kit

This pack contains two Reolink RLC-811A network cameras, each delivering 8MP resolution at 3840 x 2160 and 25 frames per second. They are aimed at homeowners or small-business installers who want wired outdoor surveillance with person and vehicle detection built in.

256GB local storage headroom

Each camera accepts a microSD card up to 256GB, giving weeks of 4K H.265 footage before the oldest files are overwritten. The 5X optical zoom lens (2.7–13.5mm) lets you narrow the field for distant detail, while IR LEDs reach 30 metres in darkness and dual spotlights add colour night vision when triggered.

Single-cable PoE integration

Power and data travel over one RJ45 cable using IEEE 802.3af, so no separate power supply is needed at the camera. ONVIF support allows the pair to join most third-party NVRs or VMS platforms, and the cameras work with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android apps for live view and playback.

Questions about this item

Will the two RLC-811A cameras work on my existing PoE switch that supplies 48 V per port?

Yes, each camera complies with IEEE 802.3af PoE and draws power at 48 V through the single RJ45 connection, so they will operate on any standard 48 V PoE switch or injector.

How can I verify that the 5× optical zoom and 4K recording are functioning after I mount the cameras?

Open the live view in the Reolink app or web browser, use the zoom slider to move through the 2.7–13.5 mm focal range, and confirm the stream shows 3840×2160 at 25 fps with H.265 encoding.

What comes in the two-camera pack and what must I purchase separately to start recording?

The box contains two RLC-811A cameras with mounting hardware; you must add a microSD card up to 256 GB per camera or an NVR, plus Ethernet cables and a PoE switch or injector for power and data.
