12-Channel 4K Wi-Fi 6 Security Kit

This 12-channel NVR kit includes four 8MP Wi-Fi 6 PT cameras and a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. It records at up to 25 FPS in 4K resolution and supports person, vehicle and animal detection. The system is designed for homes or small businesses needing expandable, wireless surveillance with local storage.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Range and Bandwidth Limits

Cameras connect via 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi 6 to the NVR's own antennas, so signal quality depends on wall materials and distance from the recorder. The 2.4GHz band reaches further but carries less throughput, while 5GHz offers higher speed over shorter distances. Wired RJ45 backup is available on the NVR if wireless proves unreliable.

12-Channel NVR Capacity Decides Expansion

The recorder accepts up to 12 camera streams but only four cameras are included in the box. Adding more units fills remaining channels without extra cabling, provided the Wi-Fi 6 signal reaches each location. Buyers who need more than 12 simultaneous feeds or larger than 2TB internal storage cannot expand beyond this unit's fixed limits.

Questions about this item

How many cameras come with the 12-channel NVR kit and can I add more later?

The kit includes four E1 Outdoor S cameras. The NVR supports up to 12 channels, so you can add up to eight additional compatible cameras when needed.

What does the 8MP 4K resolution and 25 FPS recording rate mean for day-to-day footage?

Each camera captures 8-megapixel 4K video at up to 25 frames per second, delivering sharp detail for identifying faces or licence plates during both live viewing and playback.

How does the dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connection affect camera placement and streaming reliability?

Cameras connect on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 to the NVR; 2.4 GHz gives longer range through walls while 5 GHz offers higher throughput for smoother 4K streams at shorter distances.
