8-Channel 4K PoE NVR Kit

This Reolink RLK8-800V4 kit includes an 8-channel NVR with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive and four 8MP IP cameras. It records at up to 25 frames per second in 4K resolution. The system uses Power-over-Ethernet cabling for both data and power, simplifying installation for home or small business security.

8MP Resolution and 125° View

Each supplied camera captures 8-megapixel video through a 2.8mm lens that delivers a 125° diagonal field of view. The NVR displays the main stream at 3840×2160 pixels at 20 frames per second. This combination determines whether the kit covers the required area with sufficient detail for identification.

Sustained Recording and Night Operation

The 2TB drive supports continuous 24/7 recording across all active channels alongside motion-triggered and scheduled modes. Cameras provide infrared night vision to 30 metres and colour night vision via dual 3000K spotlights with adjustable brightness. IP67-rated housings maintain operation during extended outdoor exposure.

Questions about this item

What does the 8 megapixel resolution actually deliver on a monitor?

Each camera records at 3840×2160 pixels at up to 25 frames per second, and the NVR outputs the main stream at 20 frames per second on a 4K display.

How does the PoE connection limit cable runs and power?

A single Ethernet cable carries both data and power up to 100 metres, and the NVR supplies up to 12 watts per port so no separate adapters are needed.

What physical space and mounting does each camera require?

The bullet-style housing is rated IP67 for outdoor use, has a 2.8 mm lens giving a 105° horizontal view, and includes a spotlight with two 3000K warm LEDs.
