Five-pack walkie-talkies for teams

The Retevis RT27 set supplies five identical two-way radios in black, each offering 22 channels for group coordination. They suit crews in warehouses, building sites or outdoor events who need a ready-to-use fleet without buying single units separately. The rechargeable design removes the recurring cost of disposable cells for every handset.

Battery life and rugged housing

Each unit carries an 1100 mAh lithium-ion pack rated for up to 10 hours of active use and longer on standby. A charging dock and USB cable are included so the whole fleet can be replenished from one power source. The thickened polycarbonate shell resists shock, vibration, dust and splashes for reliable daily operation.

VOX and channel management features

Voice-activated transmission lets users speak without pressing a button, useful when hands are occupied. Squelch, monitor and busy-channel-lock functions help keep audio clear and prevent accidental interference on shared frequencies. The five-pack bundles all accessories so every radio is field-ready immediately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the batteries in the RT27 radios, and what step do people often miss?

Each radio ships with its 1100 mAh Li-ion pack already fitted; the step users miss is seating every unit in the 5-slot charging dock until the LED turns solid, confirming a full 8-10 hour charge before first use.

What maintenance or replacement will the RT27 pack need over time?

The 1100 mAh Li-ion cells will gradually hold less charge; plan to replace the battery packs when talk time drops well below 8 hours, and keep the charging contacts clean for reliable docking.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the RT27 radios?

Battery life is the first limit — continuous transmit drains the 1100 mAh pack in roughly 8-10 hours, so extended shifts require spare charged packs or mid-shift docking.
