RIITOP Thunderbolt 4 cable 6.6 ft

This 6.6 ft active Thunderbolt 4 cable carries 40 Gbps data, 100W power delivery and 8K video over a single USB-C to USB-C link. It is built for professionals who connect high-resolution displays, fast external storage or docks to Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4 or USB-C hosts.

Suits creative workflows needing 8K at 60 Hz

Buyers who only need basic charging or low-speed data syncing do not need this cable. Systems without a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode cannot drive video through this cable.

40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4 certified bandwidth

The active chipset maintains full 40 Gbps throughput at 6.6 ft, enabling 8K 60 Hz output and 100W charging simultaneously. Shorter or passive cables cannot guarantee this performance at this length.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.6 ft Thunderbolt 4 cable get warm or draw extra power during all-day 40 Gbps transfers?

The active chipset maintains signal integrity at full 40 Gbps without external power; the cable runs on bus power and stays cool under sustained load.

What must my laptop or dock already provide for the 100 W charging and 8K video to work?

The host port must support USB Power Delivery up to 100 W and DisplayPort Alternate Mode for 8K output; the cable itself carries both signals.

Will the cable run at 40 Gbps and drive 8K when plugged into my older Thunderbolt 3 dock?

The cable is fully backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3, so it will operate at Thunderbolt 3 speeds and 4K video limits on that dock.
