Single Contact Sensor for Ring Alarm

The Ring Alarm Window and Door Contact Sensor is a single white unit that mounts on any door or window frame. It pairs with a Ring Alarm or Alarm Pro base station to send real-time mobile alerts whenever the monitored entry point opens. This accessory is designed for homeowners expanding an existing Ring security system with additional perimeter sensors.

Check Compatibility and Battery Access

This sensor requires a Ring Alarm or Alarm Pro base station sold separately; it will not function as a standalone device. Verify that your current kit includes the base station before ordering. The unit ships with two CR2032 coin cell batteries included, so confirm you can access the battery compartment for replacement after roughly three years of use.

Battery Power and Silent Operation

Power comes solely from the two included CR2032 batteries, which may last up to three years depending on usage and temperature. Cold conditions can reduce that lifespan. The sensor has no fan or moving parts, so it runs silently and draws no mains power, adding no heat or noise to the room where it is installed.

This is a single-pack white sensor; buy additional single packs for each extra door or window you want to monitor.

What does the three-year battery-life claim mean once the sensor is installed?

The two included CR2032 cells may last up to three years under normal use, but cold temperatures can shorten that span.
