Emergency Radio with 5000mAh Battery

The ROCAM CR1009 PRO is a portable emergency radio designed for households, campers and hikers who need reliable weather alerts and AM, FM or shortwave reception when mains power is unavailable. Its integrated 5000mAh rechargeable battery can be replenished by solar panel, hand crank or USB charging, keeping the unit ready for extended outages.

5000mAh Capacity and Multi-Source Charging

The 5000mAh battery provides enough reserve for many hours of radio listening or LED flashlight use before it requires recharging. When the battery runs low, the built-in solar panel and extended hand crank allow off-grid top-ups, while USB input offers a faster mains-powered option when electricity returns.

Rugged Yellow Housing with Flashlight and SOS

The bright yellow casing measures 7.48 in x 3.46 in x 4.72 in and includes a two-mode LED flashlight plus a loud SOS alarm for signalling distress. A 3 W speaker delivers clear audio for NOAA weather alerts, and the telescopic antenna folds away for compact storage in a backpack or glove compartment.

Questions about this item

Will the 5000mAh battery keep the CR1009 PRO running alongside my older AM/FM radios during a prolonged outage?

The 5000mAh rechargeable battery powers the CR1009 PRO independently and can be topped up via solar panel or hand crank, so it operates without relying on any other radio's power source.

How do I confirm the NOAA weather alert on the CR1009 PRO is active after I set it up?

Tune to the WB band; the radio will automatically sound an alarm when the National Weather Service issues a warning for your area, confirming the alert function is working.

What comes in the box with the CR1009 PRO and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the CR1009 PRO radio with built-in 5000mAh battery, solar panel, hand crank, 2-mode LED flashlight and SOS alarm; no extra accessories are required for basic operation.
