12U open-frame server rack

The Rocstor SolidRack provides 12U of mounting space in a four-post open frame built from cold-rolled steel with a black powder-coated finish. It suits IT managers who need quick, unrestricted access to equipment in secure locations where a locked cabinet is unnecessary. Numbered square holes simplify installation of standard 19-inch gear.

Thermals noise and power

The fully open design allows unrestricted airflow around installed devices so cooling relies entirely on the equipment’s own fans. No power supply or active cooling is included, so the rack itself adds no acoustic noise or electrical draw. Stationary load capacity reaches 1,200 lbs (453.6 kgs) and bolt-down points keep the frame stable under full weight.

Adjustable depth and expansion

Depth adjusts from 22 to 40 inches to match equipment between 22 and 40 inches deep without extra parts. Casters are supplied for mobility before the unit is bolted down. Multiple racks can be ganged side by side for high-density rows and vertical PDUs or cable management can be mounted tool-free on the frame.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the self-squaring frame and which step is often missed?

Bolt the four posts together using the included hardware; the step often missed is tightening the bolt-down provisions to the floor for stability.

What parts will need replacement after extended use?

The casters and powder-coated finish may wear over time; all other components are cold-rolled steel with no moving parts.

At what depth does the adjustable rail range stop supporting deeper equipment?

The rails adjust from 22 to 40 inches; equipment deeper than 40 inches cannot be mounted.
