Extends USB Type-A by 6 ft
This Rocstor Y10C117-B1 cable adds 6 ft of reach to any standard USB Type-A connection. It plugs into a host port with a male connector and presents a female port for the device. The link runs at USB 2.0 speed and stays compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1 equipment.
Male-to-female Type-A gender changer
The cable has one Type-A male plug and one Type-A female receptacle, both wired for USB 2.0. That gender-change layout is the single detail that decides whether the part fits the gap you need to bridge. No other connector types or orientations are included.
Frees device placement from short leads
The 6 ft length lets you position printers, scanners, cameras, drives, network adapters or flash drives farther from the host without moving the computer. It needs a free Type-A port on the host side and a Type-A plug on the device side. Builders needing a different connector gender, a longer run or a higher USB revision cannot use this cable.

Questions about this item
How much extra reach does the 6 ft cable add to a USB device?
The cable adds six feet of length between the computer and the peripheral, letting you place printers, scanners, cameras, hard drives, network adapters or flash drives farther from the host port.
What does the USB 2.0 label on the connectors mean for everyday use?
The Type A male and Type A female ends both follow the USB 2.0 specification and remain backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1 devices, so older peripherals still work through the extension.
Will the Type A male plug and Type A female socket fit standard USB ports on my equipment?
Yes — the male end plugs into any standard USB Type A port on a computer or hub, and the female end accepts any standard USB Type A cable from a supported device.
