A compact four-input HDMI video switcher with a built-in 14-channel audio mixer and 10-view multiview monitoring
The Roland V-1HD+ is a portable production switcher designed for live events and simultaneous livestreaming. It accepts up to four HDMI inputs, including PC resolutions on one channel, with each input featuring a frame buffer and frame rate conversion that removes the need to genlock sources. A single operator can manage both video switching and audio mixing from one unit.
The unit fits into tight spaces and offers manual operation via its integrated T-fader and take button for transition control. Remote management is possible through an RS-232 connection, and a tally output supports live camera workflows. Two HDMI outputs are independently selectable between program and multiview modes, with up to 10 views per output, while the second output adds an on-screen menu display.
A four-layer effects engine provides keying, picture-in-picture and downstream key capabilities for layered productions. Internal memory holds four still images, and a USB port allows access to external drives for additional media. Before ordering, confirm that your sources output HDMI and that your recording or streaming destinations accept the switcher’s HDMI program feed.

The V-1HD+ provides four HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs. It handles HD video production and PC resolutions on one input, with each input featuring a frame buffer and frame rate conversion so sources do not require genlock.
The unit requires four HDMI source cables, up to two HDMI display cables, and an RS-232 link for remote control. A tally output is available for live camera integration, and a USB port accepts external drives for additional still image access.
Connect HDMI sources and displays, set the working resolution, then select sources via the built-in controls or RS-232. The step often missed is assigning each output to program or multiview and enabling the on-screen menu on output two for configuration.
