rooCASE 10.2-inch iPad Cover

This case fits the 10.2-inch iPad 7th generation 2019, 8th generation 2020 and 9th generation 2021 releases. It is designed for owners of those specific models who want a slim protective layer with a translucent frosted back that shows the Apple logo. The cover snaps on magnetically and supports the auto sleep/wake function. It does not accommodate the Smart Keyboard.

Thermals and Power

The hard shell and smart cover add no active cooling or power draw. They simply shield the tablet from fingerprints and scratches while allowing heat to dissipate passively through the device's own chassis. Operation remains silent and battery life is unaffected by the case itself.

Stand Angles and Access

The folded cover creates two fixed positions: a viewing angle for watching videos or reading emails and a typing angle for drawing or writing on the screen. The package contains only the case; there is no pencil holder, keyboard or additional software included.

Questions about this item

How do I snap the case onto my 10.2-inch iPad and line up the auto sleep/wake magnet?

Align the translucent frosted back with the device, press the edges until the hard shell clicks shut, then close the front cover so the built-in magnet triggers sleep/wake.

Will the frosted back coating wear off or yellow, and can I replace just that piece?

The hard shell is a single moulded piece; if the translucent finish scratches or discolours the entire case must be replaced.

At what angle does the stand become unstable during long typing sessions?

The case offers two fixed stand angles; the steeper typing angle is the first to wobble if the surface is uneven or the iPad is tapped heavily.
