Handheld mattress vacuum with UV-C

The Rosewill RHVC-24001 is a corded handheld vacuum built for mattresses, bedding, sofas and similar fabrics. It targets users who want to remove dust mites, pet hair and allergens from soft surfaces without using a full-size machine. The 0.6 L dust cup and 1.7 kg weight keep the unit manageable for short cleaning sessions.

Sustained cleaning on fabric surfaces

A 450 W motor delivers 16,000 Pa suction through a 9 inch wide port, while 60 °C hot air and 253.7 nm UV-C light operate continuously during use. The six-stage filtration system with a HEPA filter rated for 0.3-micron capture and a dual dust-cup design maintains airflow as the 0.6 L cup fills, preventing the suction drop-off common in single-cup handhelds.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

The vacuum draws 450 W at 120 V 60 Hz through a mechanical switch with an LCD indicator. UV-C light switches off automatically when the unit is lifted, limiting exposure and reducing unnecessary heat. Plastic construction and the integrated filtration path keep operating noise at a level suitable for bedroom use without additional sound-dampening claims.

Questions about this item

How loud and warm does the 450W motor get during a full 15-minute cleaning session?

The 450W motor runs on 120V power; the unit weighs 1.7kg and measures 310x165x200mm, so heat and noise stay manageable for typical mattress and sofa tasks.

Does the RHVC-24001 need any extra filters or attachments before I can start cleaning my mattress?

It ships with a dual 0.6L dust cup, HEPA filtration and extra HEPA filters included; no additional purchases are required for immediate use.

Will the 253.7nm UV-C light and 16,000Pa suction still work effectively if I keep using my older standard vacuum for floors?

Yes — this handheld targets mites and allergens on fabric surfaces with UV-C, ultrasonic waves and 60°C hot air, complementing rather than replacing a floor vacuum.
