Targeted allergen removal

The Rosewill RHVC-24004BL is a corded handheld vacuum built for mattress and upholstery sanitation. It uses 253.7nm UV-C light and ultrasonic waves to neutralise mites and allergens on beds, sofas and pet areas. The 350W motor delivers 13Kpa suction through a widened intake for fabric surfaces.

UV-C safety and filtration impact

The UV-C lamp switches off automatically when the unit is lifted from a flat surface, preventing accidental exposure. A six-stage system includes a HEPA filter rated for 0.3-micron particles, while dual 0.5L dust cups separate hair from fine dust to maintain airflow. Filters are washable and reusable.

Capacity and runtime limits

The 0.5L total dust capacity suits single-room sessions before emptying is needed. The 13ft cord confines use to one outlet reach, and the 3.52lb weight is manageable for short tasks but tiring for whole-home cleaning. Buyers needing cordless freedom or larger debris bins should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often do I need to clean or replace the HEPA filter in the RHVC-24004BL?

The HEPA filter is washable and reusable; rinse it under water and let it dry completely before refitting to maintain the 99.9% capture rate.

What limits continuous running time on this 350W mattress vacuum?

The motor draws 350W at 120V; thermal protection will pause the 60°C hot-air function if internal temperature rises too high during extended sessions.

How much heat and noise does the 350W motor produce during all-day use?

The unit blows 60°C heated air from the widened suction port; the corded 350W motor runs continuously without battery fade, so expect steady warm airflow and typical vacuum sound.
