23-gallon drop-top lid for Slim Jim containers

This gray resin lid fits 23-gallon rectangular Slim Jim containers. It snaps onto the container rim and provides a single drop opening. The lid measures 11 inches wide by 20 inches deep and stands 5 inches high. It is designed for indoor janitorial use in offices or breakrooms.

Snap-on closure keeps waste contained

The drop-top design allows users to dispose of trash without touching the lid surface. A swing closure returns the opening to a closed position after each use, helping to reduce odors and keep contents out of sight. The resin construction resists dents and corrosion in daily cleaning routines.

Simple snap-on installation with fit constraints

Installation requires aligning the lid with the container rim and pressing until it snaps into place. No tools or fasteners are needed. The lid only fits Slim Jim containers matching the specified 23-gallon rectangular footprint; it will not work with round or differently sized receptacles.

Questions about this item

Will the snap-on fit loosen over time so the lid needs replacing?

The lid snaps onto the 23-gallon Slim Jim container; the plastic resin construction resists cracking, so the fit typically lasts through years of daily use.

What stops the drop-top from closing when the can is completely full?

The single drop opening measures 11 by 20 inches; once waste reaches that level the lid rests on the load and cannot swing shut until some material is removed.

Does the gray resin lid get hot or emit any smell after sitting in a busy breakroom all day?

The resin material does not retain heat and produces no odor; the lid stays at room temperature and remains neutral even with constant traffic.
