Indoor Wi-Fi 6 access point with 2.5 GbE PoE+ uplink, six MU-MIMO streams, 512-client capacity and embedded IoT support
Version WiFi 6
The RUCKUS 9F1-R650-US00 is an indoor wireless access point built on the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It delivers a maximum data rate of 3 Gbps using six MU-MIMO spatial streams across concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. The unit supports up to 512 connected clients and 31 configured SSIDs. It is powered through a 2.5 GBase-T PoE+ port and includes a 1000Base-T port plus a USB 2.0 Type A interface.
This access point suits offices, schools or venues that need many simultaneous connections and the option to manage the network from the cloud, on-premises appliances or without a controller. Built-in IoT support, Cloudpath onboarding, SPoT locationing and SCI analytics extend its role beyond basic Wi-Fi. Buyers who require outdoor-rated hardware, 6 GHz spectrum or a 10 Gbps uplink should consider other models.
The R650 draws 21.59 W from a PoE+ source and operates between 32 °F and 104 °F in humidity up to 95 %. Internal antennas provide 3 dBi gain. The chassis can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted, and the USB 2.0 port allows local sensor or storage expansion. VLAN tagging, ACLs, WIDS/WIPS, LDPC and GRE tunnelling are supported for secure, segmented networks.
