Adapts a 4.0 x 1.35 mm male plug to a 5.5 x 2.1 mm female socket for internal power connections
This internal power cable converts a 4.0 x 1.35 mm male plug into a 5.5 x 2.1 mm female socket. It allows devices with the larger barrel connector to draw power from sources fitted with the smaller jack. The adapter is sold as a single unit.
Use this cable when a power supply or distribution board provides a 4.0 x 1.35 mm output but the driven component requires a 5.5 x 2.1 mm input. It is not suitable for builders who need the opposite gender arrangement or a different barrel diameter.

The male end measures 4.0 mm outer diameter and 1.35 mm inner diameter; it fits ports built to that exact barrel size.
Plug the 4.0 x 1.35 mm male side into your power source, then attach your 5.5 x 2.1 mm device cable to the female end.
