Product purpose

The Ruth's sister 8-key internal power cable is a wireless RF touch-panel dimmer and RGB controller designed for 3528 and 5050 LED strip lights. It accepts DC input from 5 to 24 volts and drives four output channels, making it suitable for PC builders who want remote-controlled lighting effects inside their case.

Setup check

Verify that your LED strips operate within the 5 to 24 volt DC range and use a common-anode RGB pinout matching the V+ and three colour channels. Ensure you have a compatible constant-voltage power source for the strips and enough clearance for the controller module and its wireless receiver.

Build and connectors

The unit uses PWM control to deliver static, jump, gradient and stroboscopic modes with adjustable brightness and speed. Four screw-terminal interfaces accept the strip wires directly, and the design supports cascading RGB signal amplifiers for longer runs such as 12 volt 30 LED per metre strips up to 20 metres or 12 volt 60 LED per metre strips up to 10 metres.
