CS1-G Magnetic Reed Switch

The CS1-G magnetic sensor reed switch detects piston position inside an air cylinder. Each pack contains five switches rated for DC or AC voltages from 5 V to 240 V with a 100 mA current limit. They suit automation engineers adding end-of-stroke feedback to pneumatic systems.

Simple two-wire fitting

The switch clips onto the cylinder tie-rod or groove and connects with two leads, so no separate power supply is needed. Take care not to exceed the 100 mA rating, as the reed contacts will weld shut under higher loads. The 5 V lower bound means very low-voltage logic circuits cannot drive the switch directly.
