ER11 spring collet set holds shanks from 1 to 7 mm for CNC engraving and milling machines
The Ruth's sister ER11 spring chuck is a precision collet holder designed for CNC engraving machines and milling lathes. It secures cutting tools or workpieces by clamping spring collets across a range of metric and imperial shank diameters. This component is intended for machinists and hobbyists who need reliable tool retention during routing, milling or engraving operations.
This chuck replaces a damaged or worn ER11 holder that no longer provides uniform clamping force across the full collet range. Upgrading is worthwhile when run-out increases, tools slip under load or collets no longer seat cleanly. It is not suited for users who require larger ER series tapers or hydraulic and shrink-fit holding systems for heavy-duty production work.
