M42 Adjustable Inner Ring Adapter

This aluminium adapter connects M42 mount lenses to compatible digital SLR cameras. The inner ring can be adjusted to achieve infinity focus. Full manual control is required for aperture and exposure settings. The package includes one adapter ring.

Suited for M42 Lens Owners on Supported Bodies

Photographers with M42 mount series lenses can use this adapter on listed Canon models including 5D III, 5D II, 5D, 6D, 7D and 60D. It is not suitable for users needing electronic aperture control or autofocus. Builders requiring adapters for other lens mounts should look elsewhere. Camera bodies without a "Shutter release without lens" menu option cannot use this adapter.

Adjustable Inner Ring for Infinity Focus

The defining specification is the adjustable inner ring that allows infinity focus with M42 lenses. This mechanical feature compensates for flange distance differences between the lens and camera body. Without this adjustability, infinity focus would not be reachable on the supported digital SLR cameras. The adapter is constructed entirely from metal for durability.
