  • Open clear design allows visual status checks
  • External key lock secures access to controls
  • Fast easy installation over volume or lighting controls

Protective Enclosure for Outdoor Controls

The Safety Technology International STI-7510C provides a clear, open-faced shield for volume or lighting controls mounted in exterior locations. It guards against vandalism, accidental impact, and environmental debris such as dirt and grime. The enclosure installs quickly and uses an external key lock to restrict unauthorised access.

External Key Lock Access

The fitted external key lock allows authorised personnel to reach the protected controls without removing the cover. This arrangement keeps the devices secured against tampering while still permitting routine adjustments. The clear polycarbonate construction maintains full visibility of the control settings at all times.

Suited for Exposed Control Panels

This unit fits installations where switches or dials must remain operable yet shielded from damage and weather. It is not intended for fully sealed environments or for enclosures requiring internal mounting hardware not supplied here. Buyers needing a completely weatherproof seal or a larger internal cavity should consider alternative models.

Questions about this item

Will the clear polycarbonate cover on the STI-7510C need replacement if it yellows or cracks over time?

The clear enclosure shields controls from dirt, grime and vandalism; the cover can be removed and swapped if it becomes discoloured or damaged after extended outdoor exposure.

What is the first limit reached when the STI-7510C is mounted in direct sunlight all day?

Internal temperatures will rise until the enclosed volume or lighting controls hit their own operating limits, since the enclosure itself has no active cooling or venting.

Does the STI-7510C generate any noise or heat of its own during continuous use?

The unit is a passive clear shell with an external key lock; it adds no fan noise, no electrical draw and no heat beyond what the sun transfers through the cover.
