Converts BNC composite, S-Video and VGA sources to VGA output with wide-screen 16:9 and 16:10 support up to 1680 x 1050 resolution
The sakose HM104 accepts composite BNC, S-Video and VGA inputs and switches between them to drive a single VGA monitor. It is aimed at installers who need to view surveillance DVRs, security cameras or quad processors on a standard VGA or SVGA display. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation.
The converter handles PAL and NTSC sources and scales them to a choice of output modes including 800 x 600 at 60 Hz or 75 Hz, 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz, 1280 x 720 at 60 Hz, 1440 x 900 at 60 Hz, 1600 x 900 at 60 Hz and 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz. Wide-screen 16:9 and 16:10 LCDs are supported. Composite and S-Video inputs are limited to 1680 x 1050 maximum resolution.
The unit measures 3.9 by 2.4 by 1 inches and uses a fanless design, so it adds no audible noise to a monitoring station. Power draw is low enough for the supplied adapter. Adjustable lightness, hue, contrast, saturation and colour settings are retained after power-off.

Yes, the converter supports 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz on wide-screen 16:9 and 16:10 LCDs, so a VGA monitor with that native resolution will display the BNC signal at full detail.
Use the front input-select switch to choose the BNC source; a stable picture at one of the listed resolutions — for example 1280 x 720 at 60 Hz — plus adjustable brightness, contrast and colour that auto-save on power-off confirms correct operation.
The package contains only the HM104 converter itself; you will need to supply a BNC cable for the composite or S-Video source and a standard VGA cable for the monitor connection.
