Professional UHF Wireless Earset System

The Samson Concert 88x is a professional UHF wireless earset system built for singers, worship leaders, educators and presenters who need reliable hands-free audio. It includes the CR88x receiver, CB88 beltpack transmitter and the lightweight SE10 earset microphone operating in the 470-494MHz band.

Interference-Free Reception with True Diversity

True-diversity reception and one-touch scanning select the clearest of 100 available frequencies across a 25 MHz bandwidth for dropout-free performance up to 300 feet. Tone-key and auto-mute circuitry silence the system when the transmitter leaves range, preventing unwanted noise during use.

Frequency Band K Locks You to 470-494MHz

This unit is the K-band variant fixed to the 470-494MHz range; it cannot be retuned outside that window. Buyers who need a different regulatory band or a frequency-agile system for multi-region touring cannot use this model.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the CB88 beltpack transmitter with the CR88x receiver using the one-touch scan and infrared sync?

Press the scan button on the CR88x receiver to automatically select the clearest of the 100 available frequencies across the 25 MHz bandwidth, then hold the CB88 beltpack near the receiver so the infrared signal synchronises both units to that channel.

What ongoing maintenance does the SE10 earset microphone and CB88 beltpack require?

Replace the AA batteries in the CB88 beltpack when the low-battery indicator appears; clean the SE10 earset's 0.45 oz boom and windscreen regularly to maintain the 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response.

At what distance does the true-diversity reception start to drop out during a long presentation?

The system specifies a maximum 300 ft performance range; beyond that distance the tone-key and auto-mute circuitry will silence the audio to prevent noise.
