2-megapixel network surveillance camera

The Samsung Techwin SNP-6320N delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution at 1080p with 32x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom. It supports H.264, MJPEG and MPEG-4 dual codec streaming over Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX. The unit operates on AC 24 V or PoE Plus Class 4 with a 20 Watt power draw.

RS-485 control and standard network setup

Configuration uses common protocols including DHCP, DNS, HTTP and SNMP over a wired Ethernet link. The camera accepts 208-230 V AC output voltage and mounts within a 6 by 6 by 8.6 inch footprint. Installers should verify PoE Plus Class 4 compatibility on the switch side before deployment.

Suits fixed-site HD monitoring with zoom

This camera fits installations needing 120dB wide dynamic range, day/night ICR switching and intelligent video analytics such as auto tracking. Buyers requiring wireless connectivity, onboard storage or higher than 2-megapixel resolution should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the camera is recording at 1920 x 1080 resolution after installation?

Access the web interface via Ethernet and check the live video stream settings; the resolution should display as 1920 x 1080 with H.264 or MJPEG codec active.

What accessories are included and what must I purchase separately for power and mounting?

The camera unit is supplied; you must source an AC 24 V supply or a PoE Plus Class 4 injector capable of 20 W, plus any mounting bracket or housing separately.

Which zoom capability should I prioritise for long-range identification — the 32x optical or the 16x digital?

Use the 32x optical zoom for genuine detail at distance; the 16x digital zoom only enlarges the existing image and reduces clarity.
