What this 8-channel DVR does

The SANNCE recorder accepts up to eight cameras across TVI, AHD, CVI, CVBS and IP formats at 2 MP resolution. It outputs 1080p lite (960 x 1080) video over HDMI and VGA simultaneously. A single SATA bay supports one drive up to 8 TB for local storage. Remote viewing works through iOS and Android apps plus PC client software.

Sustained recording behaviour

The unit records continuously or on a schedule with motion detection triggering alerts sent to email or the mobile app. Playback can be searched by time, calendar, event or channel. Network backup and USB storage export are available. The 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port handles live streams and configuration without a separate router setup step.

Thermals noise and power

Power draw stays below 10 W without a hard drive installed, supplied by a 12 V 2 A adapter. The metal chassis runs passively within a 0 to 55 °C operating range and 10 to 90 % humidity. At 255 x 236 x 44 mm and roughly 1 kg it fits on a shelf or desk without active cooling noise.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 10W DVR produce during 24/7 recording?

The unit consumes under 10W without a hard drive and operates from 0 to 55°C, so heat and fan noise stay low even when recording continuously.

Which cables and drives must I supply to start recording on the 8‑channel recorder?

You need a 12V 2A power adapter, at least one SATA hard drive up to 8TB, Ethernet cable for the 10/100Mbps port, and compatible cameras for the eight BNC inputs.

Will my existing analog CVBS cameras work alongside new 2MP IP cameras on this hybrid DVR?

Yes, the 5‑in‑1 recorder accepts CVBS, TVI, AHD, CVI and up to two 2MP IP cameras simultaneously on its eight channels.
