Connects 1.8 inch Micro-SATA drives using a 20-pin PCB-side female connector, SATA 7-pin data and Molex power input
This cable adapts a 1.8 inch Micro-SATA device to a standard SATA 7-pin data connector. A Molex power input is integrated for drive supply. It suits repair technicians or hobbyists who need to connect legacy micro drives to desktop motherboards or external enclosures. Builders working with newer drive form factors will not find a use for this adapter.
The female Micro-SATA end mates directly with the drive PCB, while the SATA 7-pin end plugs into a host port. Molex power means a spare PSU lead is required for operation. No eSATA bracket or additional mounting hardware is included in the package.
