SatelliteSale RG6 Direct Burial Cable

This 100 ft orange coaxial cable is built for permanent underground runs. It carries signals for off-air antennas, cable TV and satellite providers with male F-type connectors on both ends. Installers and homeowners use it when standard indoor coax would fail in wet soil.

Practical limits of RG6 burial coax

The triple-shielded construction with 77% aluminium braid and gel-filled core resists moisture ingress even if the jacket is nicked. Signal loss stays low up to 1800 MHz and supports 1080i at 60 Hz with PCM stereo or compressed 5.35 surround formats. It is not rated for aerial spans or tight indoor bends.

Installation notes and common issues

Bury the cable at least 18 inches deep, or 24 inches inside plastic conduit, and check local codes before digging. The flooded gel makes the cable stiffer than indoor types, so allow generous sweep radii. Forgetting to seal connector threads with weatherproof tape lets water wick into the dielectric over time.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 100 ft orange flooded cable or a different length for my direct burial run?

This listing is the 100 ft orange flooded RG6 with F-type male connectors on both ends, built for direct burial with gel-filled core and triple shielding.

What does the 1800 MHz rating mean for my TV and internet signals?

The 1800 MHz bandwidth handles cable TV, satellite and off-air antenna signals plus bi-directional data up to 1 Gbps internet.

How does the F-type connector interface limit performance in practice?

Standard F-type male connectors mate with any RG6 device; the 77% aluminum braid and bonded foil shield keep loss low through the connection.
