Product Identity

Scotch 2525 Flatback Tape is a general-purpose adhesive tape supplied in a case of 24 rolls. It suits packaging, bundling and marking tasks in offices, warehouses and workshops.

Capacity and Limits

Each roll provides 60 yards of 2-inch wide tape at 9.5 mil thickness. The 24-roll case covers high-volume sealing jobs, while single rolls handle smaller repairs; the flatback construction limits stretch for heavy structural bonds.

Thermal and Power Profile

As a passive adhesive product it generates no heat, draws no power and produces no noise during application or storage. Performance remains stable across normal indoor temperature ranges.

Questions about this item

Will the 9.5 mil flatback tape adhere well to the older cardboard boxes I still use for storage?

The 9.5 mil thickness provides strong holding power on cardboard and other fibrous surfaces, making it suitable for sealing older boxes.

How can I verify the 2525 tape is dispensing correctly after loading it on my dispenser?

The orange flatback tape should unwind smoothly without tearing and show consistent adhesion when pressed onto a test surface.

Does the case of 24 rolls include a handheld dispenser or must I buy one separately?

The case contains 24 rolls of 2 inch by 60 yard tape only; a dispenser is not included and must be purchased separately.
