Vinyl electrical tape rated for 600 volts and 220 °F, 3/4 inch by 66 feet with 17 lb./in. tensile strength
Scotch Series 35 vinyl electrical tape provides 600 volt insulation for wire splices and cable repairs. The rubber adhesive bonds at 20 oz. per inch and holds in temperatures up to 220 degrees F. UL 510 listed and CSA certified for code compliant installations.
This vinyl roll replaces older cloth friction tape that absorbs moisture and loses adhesion over time. The switch is worth it when joints need moisture resistance and a consistent 7.00 mil thickness that wraps without bulk.
Vinyl backing stretches to conform but will cold flow under sustained mechanical load so it should not serve as primary structural support. UV resistance is not rated so outdoor runs need conduit or jacketed cable for long term exposure. The 66 foot roll covers typical residential circuits but large commercial pulls will require multiple rolls.

The roll measures 3/4 in. wide and 66 ft. long, giving a continuous vinyl backing for insulation and bundling jobs.
Wrap the tape with half-lap tension, pressing each turn firmly; the 20 oz./in. adhesive bonds instantly when stretched, and the 7.00 mil thickness conforms to irregular shapes.
Replace the roll if the white vinyl shows cracking, discolouration or loss of stretch, since UV resistance is not rated and the 17 lb./in. tensile strength drops with heat ageing.
