Converts a 4-pin Molex connector into two 15-pin SATA power ports using 18AWG copper cable, 20cm each, supplied as a 2-pack
This splitter converts a single four-pin Molex connector into two fifteen-pin SATA power sockets. It lets you run two hard drives or solid-state drives from one legacy power supply output. The pack contains two twenty-centimetre cables for desktop builds or drive upgrades.
The copper conductors use 18AWG 1007 wire rated for the current drawn by typical SATA drives. No active cooling is present so the cable adds no noise. Power delivery depends entirely on the host supply and the connected drives.
Each cable ends in two fifteen-pin SATA power connectors and cannot power devices that need a different power interface. Builders whose drives or backplanes require another connector type will need a separate adapter.

Plug the 4-pin male Molex connector directly into a free Molex port on the power supply, then attach each 15-pin female SATA connector to the power port on a SATA hard drive, SSD, or optical drive. The 20cm cable length requires the drives to be close to the PSU.
The 18AWG copper conductors and black braided sleeving are passive components with no moving parts; they do not have a scheduled maintenance interval or replacement cycle under normal operation.
The 18AWG copper wires set the practical current limit for the splitter; total combined draw from both SATA devices must stay within the safe ampacity of 18AWG conductors to avoid voltage drop or heating.
