PCIe 36-pin 1x extension cable

This black cable provides a male-to-male PCI Express 1x link with a total length of 24cm and a cable length of 20cm. It suits builders who need to route a single-lane connection in compact 1U or 2U chassis.

Flexible routing for dense enclosures

The soft, flexible cable installs at any angle inside shallow rackmount cases. A PCB-swaddled design secured with bolts and nuts protects the solder points from tearing and short circuits, while a golden finger cover shields the contacts.

Stable Gen3 8Gbps signal integrity

High-quality axial construction maintains low attenuation for sustained PCIe Gen3 8Gbps throughput under continuous load. The durable materials and experienced design resist signal degradation during extended operation in high-frequency environments.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 cm total length reach across a 1U chassis?

The cable is 20 cm long with a 24 cm total span, designed for 1U and 2U cases and flexible enough to route at any angle.

Does the 36-pin gold-finger cover stay in place during continuous operation?

A protection cover shields the gold fingers and the PCB is bolted and nut-fixed to prevent tearing or short circuits at the solder points.

What PCIe slot type does the male-to-male 36-pin connector fit?

It plugs into a standard PCI Express x1 slot on the motherboard and extends to a matching x1 device or riser.
