Outdoor 1080p PTZ camera

The Vstarcam C34S-X4 is a 2-megapixel network camera built for exterior monitoring. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and streams 1920×1080 video with a motorised pan of 355° and tilt of 90°. The 2.8–12 mm lens delivers a variable field of view from 103° down to 30.8° horizontally. ONVIF support allows integration with compatible recorders and software platforms.

Sustained outdoor operation

An IP66-rated enclosure protects the imager and optics from rain, snow and dust without fogging. Infrared LEDs maintain visibility after dark, while the 4× optical zoom and auto-focus track subjects without manual intervention. Continuous recording writes to a microSD card up to 128 GB, to an NVR for 24-hour loops, or to cloud storage triggered by motion events. The 2.4–2.4835 GHz radio sustains the stream during extended sessions.

Upgrade from fixed wide-angle cameras

This unit replaces static wide-angle cameras that cannot follow activity across a yard or driveway. The motorised head and zoom close the gap when identification detail is needed at distance. It is not suited for installations that require 5 GHz Wi-Fi, wired Ethernet, or local audio capture during live viewing. Buyers needing multi-camera bundles or higher than 1080p resolution should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How much power does the C34S-X4 draw when recording 1080p video all day?

The camera runs on standard 12 V DC power; continuous 1080p recording and PTZ movement keep consumption low enough for typical outdoor adapters.

Which wireless standard must my router support for the C34S-X4 to connect?

It uses IEEE 802.11b/g on the 2.4 – 2.4835 GHz band, so any router offering 2.4 GHz b/g/n will work.

Can I add the C34S-X4 to an existing NVR that only accepts ONVIF Profile S streams?

Yes, the camera is ONVIF compliant and streams 1920 × 1080 video that Profile S NVRs can record.
