Questions about this item

How much power does the VST-7837-B draw when running continuously?

The camera operates from a standard power plug using IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless and a 10/100 Mb Ethernet port, so its draw is low enough for 24/7 use on a normal outlet.

What must I already have at home for this camera to work?

You need a Wi‑Fi router or wired network with DHCP, plus a smartphone running the free Vstarcam app (iOS or Android) or a PC with Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox or Chrome for setup and viewing.

Will the VST-7837-B record to my older NVR that only accepts 640×480 streams?

Yes, the camera offers 720P (1280×720), VGA (640×480) and QVGA (320×240) at 30 fps, so the VGA stream matches your NVR's 640×480 requirement.
