6 inch Rigid Plate Caster

This rigid plate caster supports loads up to 300 lb with a 6 in polyurethane wheel. The non-marking tread protects floor surfaces while the polyolefin core adds durability. It suits replacement wheels on carts, dollies or light equipment. No brake or swivel lock is fitted.

Indoor material-handling use

The caster fits flat-bed carts, platform trucks or workshop trolleys that need straight-line tracking. Buyers who need swivel steering, a total-lock brake or a higher load rating should look at other models. Outdoor use on rough ground may reduce wheel life.

Simple four-bolt mounting

The rigid top plate bolts directly to the equipment frame with standard hardware. Alignment is fixed, so no swivel adjustment is required. Common issues include loose bolts after vibration and debris jamming the wheel bearings.

Questions about this item

What mounting plate does the rigid caster need to bolt onto?

The rigid plate caster attaches with a standard top plate that bolts to the cart or equipment frame.

Can the 6 in polyurethane wheel run on the same axle as older rubber wheels?

Yes, the 6 in diameter matches common wheelbarrow and cart axles so it can replace a worn rubber wheel directly.

How do I confirm the caster rolls straight after installation?

Push the loaded cart — the rigid caster should track straight without swivel and the polyurethane tread should leave no marks on the floor.
