Rigid Plate Caster for Heavy Loads

This rigid plate caster supports a 750 lb load rating with a 5 in polyurethane wheel. The polyolefin core adds structural strength while the non‑marking tread protects floor surfaces. It suits carts, workbenches and material‑handling equipment that need straight‑line tracking.

Low Rolling Resistance and Quiet Operation

Polyurethane tread reduces rolling resistance so less force is needed to move heavy loads. The material also dampens vibration, keeping noise low during normal use across concrete, epoxy or tile floors. No brake or swivel lock is fitted, so the caster rolls freely when pushed.

Consistent Performance Under Sustained Weight

The 750 lb rating applies to continuous static and dynamic loading rather than brief peaks. Polyurethane resists flat‑spotting when the cart remains stationary for long periods. California Proposition 65 notices apply because the wheel contains listed chemicals.

Questions about this item

How do I bolt the rigid plate caster to my cart, and which step causes alignment problems?

Mount the top plate using the four bolt holes in a square pattern; the step people get wrong is tightening all bolts before confirming the wheel runs parallel to the cart frame, which leads to binding under load.

What part of this caster will need replacement first, and how can I tell?

The polyurethane tread on the polyolefin core wears down over time; inspect for flat spots or exposed core material, then replace the entire caster since the wheel is not serviceable separately.

At what load does the caster reach its limit during continuous rolling?

The 750 lb rating is the maximum capacity; sustained operation at or above this weight accelerates tread wear and increases rolling resistance noticeably.
