Crepe paper painter's tape, 48 mm wide by 55 m long, 5.6 mil thick, removes cleanly for up to 3 days
SHURTAPE 212293 is a crepe-paper painter's tape with rubber adhesive designed for indoor masking on glass, metal, vinyl and wood. The roll measures 48 mm wide by 55 m long with a 5.6 mil thickness. Clean removal is rated for up to three days after application. It suits trade painters, maintenance crews and DIY decorators who need reliable edge definition.
This tape upgrades from general-purpose masking products when clean lines and residue-free removal matter. The jump is worth it for multi-surface prep where adhesion to steel reaches 38 oz/in and the tape must release cleanly after three days. It is not for buyers who need outdoor UV resistance or high-temperature holding beyond 150 °F.
The rubber adhesive maintains bond across a 50 °F to 150 °F service range during sustained drying cycles. Crepe-paper backing conforms to irregular surfaces without lifting at the edges. Performance stays consistent across the full 55 m roll rather than fading after the first few metres.

The 48 mm width covers a surface just under two inches wide, matching the 1 7/8 in specification for trim and frames.
Press the crepe paper backing firmly onto glass, metal, vinyl or wood at room temperature, then pull slowly at a low angle to avoid tearing the rubber adhesive.
Replace the roll if the rubber adhesive feels brittle or loses tack after prolonged exposure close to the 150 °F maximum performance temperature.
