Economical general-purpose masking tape

Shurtape CP-631 is an economical general-purpose tape suited for packaging, bundling, holding, binding, splicing, labeling, color coding, banding, decorating and identification. It serves home, school and industrial environments with a single roll.

Crepe paper backing with synthetic rubber adhesive

The tape uses a crepe paper backing coated with a thermoplastic synthetic rubber adhesive. This construction provides excellent adhesion and release from a variety of substrates while resisting water, oil and solvents. The core measures 3 inch diameter and rolls are cut to standard industry metric sizes approximately 5% narrower than the nominal width.

Replaces the discontinued CP-632 model

Shurtape phased out the CP-632 masking tape and replaced it with the CP-631 product. Specifications for both tapes are very close and CP-631 specification numbers now apply. Buyers who need a different width or adhesive formulation should look elsewhere.
